After nearly 20 years as a copywriter, I’ve changed careers to editing copy instead of writing it. I’m detail-oriented, well-read, and a frequent contributor to local magazines and podcasts. In 2026, I self-published my novel Saint Ike of West 4th Street.

In 2026, I self-published my first novel, Saint Ike of West 4th Street. The publisher, upon review of my manuscript, decided to forego the copyediting step because the manuscript was so well self-edited. In the proofreading phase, I observed and partook in fine-tuning the manuscript, again, a brief process.

As a feature writer for Edible Vermont and Woodstock Magazine, it has been incumbent upon me to not only write interesting stories but to ensure they are edited in manuscript and proofread in layout, saving production time and money in these tightly run, small-budget publications.
